Such sincere and efficient service is sorely lacking. That's apparent when you visit a place like Andante. It's an elegantly rustic place where you're served delicious coffee promptly. I saw a couple homeless individuals shown care by the staff. And a steady stream of regulars quietly come and go as they headed off to their busy days. A nice place to start (or break).

The mocha and drip brew are excellent. The cafe is clean and has a studious vibe when it's full. I have been here several times when I'm in town. Every once in a while I take home some of their coffee beans.

Quiet coffee shop with fairly priced drinks. I like that the no-fuss, minimalist vibe. There's music, but it's light, not blaring, and I find it a terrific little spot in Echo Park to get some work done on an afternoon.
